I just had my hair cut today - my every six weeks ritual. There’s nothing like letting go of hair that has been with you since you last had it cut - affirming that you are also letting go of the past. It can be an affirmation about how much you learned and grew in the past period of time. And it can be an affirmation about beginning anew. I know. Getting your hair cut is a simple thing - until you realize nothing is simple and everything is simple.
